I checked the models in CTR Studio, and I can indeed confirm that it is just a texture swap.
@GerbilSaysRee As I have worked with texture swapping before on 3D models, maybe it is a texture swap.
Is the model different from the green/red ones, or is it just a texture swap?
So this one had no spikes? It just looks like the blue shell powerup from NSMB.
